* List of servers and their locations
* Network diagrams
* Documented procedures for rebuilding the network
* Procedures for dealing with virus attack
* Details of any maintenance agreements with commercial suppliers

* Backups should be easy to maintain and remove off site

Data Integrity / Backup and Recovery

Access to up-to-date backup tapes is essential for the restoration of the network.
Daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly backups should be made according to a pre-determined
schedule, and recorded in a logbook. The tapes (except for daily backup) should be stored off site, in
a fireproof media safe, to ensurethey are readily available. Backups of all critical data should be
made at least once per working day.

Your backup strategy should meet the following criteria:

* Enable recovery to at least the start of business on any weekday of a failure.
* Provide at least one more level of backup to a previous time, to cover the case of the
failure of the primary backup media.
* There should be offsite storage of backup media to enable a full data recovery to no
earlier than one working week 
* There should be an audit of backup media at least once every six months.
