Macintosh OS8 and OS9 Dial-Up Instructions
1. Click on the Apple icon in the top left corner and go to Control Panels. Select the Remote Access option. Enter your TNS user name and password along with the dial-up access number you were provided with. Now click on Options. ( note: if you do not see any of these options under Remote Access click on the small blue arrow in the top left corner next to Setup so that it is facing downward )
2. Click on the Protocol section. Check the first three options only, and click ok.
3. Once again under the Control Panels, select TCP/IP. Select PPP under Connect via, and under Configure select Using PPP Server. Enter tns.net under the Search Domains and leave the Name server addr section blank.
Now when you start up an Internet application your computer should dial up TNS Automatically.
