Windows XP Dial-Up Instructions1. Left click on the start menu , then left click on the Control Panel. 2. If you are in Windows Classic mode left click on start --> then settings --> then control panel, otherwise skip to step three. 3. Now left click on the icon that says Network and Internet Connections or just Network Connections. 4. If you see an icon that says Network Connections left click on it otherwise skip to step five. 5. You should now be in the Network Connections window. If you see Create a New Connection left click on it. If you do not see Create a New Connection left click on File under the main toolbar and then left click on New Connection... 6. You should now be in the New Connection Wizard. Left click Next. 7. Select Connect to the Internet and left click Next ![]() 8. Choose Set up my connection manually and left click Next. 9. Select Connect using a dial-up modem and left click Next. 10. Under ISP Name enter TNS and left click Next. ![]() 11. Enter your TNS dial-up access number here and left click Next.
12. Now enter your user name and password. Be sure to confirm your password and make sure all three checkboxes are checked , then left click Next. ( Uncheck Turn on Internet Connection Firewall for this connection if you do not want the firewall turned on )
13. Make sure Add a shortcut to this connection on my desktop is checked and left click Finish.
14. Double left click on the new TNS dial-up icon on your desktop and the connection window will pop up. Left click Dial and your off.
